Nolan Pennington
My journey in media began in 2016 when I joined the military as a mass communication specialist. My primary schooling through the Navy provided me with the educational foundation of storytelling through multimedia.
In 2022, I received additional training through the Navy when I attended the Intermediate Photojournalism course at the Defense Information School in Fort Meade, Maryland. The course strengthened my abilities and understanding in journalism. From the course, I adopted new communication strategies and was the foundation to my multimedia editing techniques.
I have been telling the Navy’s story for almost a decade, but now it is time for me to find yours.
